Past the tipping point?

I keep waiting for the adults to once again take control of our government. But it seems the adults are afraid to speak. They seem to want to keep placating the spoiled children who need a seriously long timeout.

The latest on the Democrat side? Hillary and the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Suddenly, she has seen the light (and the polls of the far left) and decided all her past praise and support for the deal weren’t what they seemed. Poof! All gone. The new Hillary. Protectionist Hillary strangely like….Bernie Sanders. Funny how that works. Just in case anyone might still harbor some remnant of hope there’s something, anything, at her core, she’s made sure the answer is a resounding No.

The Republicans? Please, where do I begin. It is laughable to hear Republicans like Vin Weber state that the GOP is in total agreement on the issues, that they just have a messaging problem. Really? Come on, Vinny. You’re out of office and have been for years. Can’t you finally speak the truth to the children? Can you spell i-m-m-i-g-r-a-t-i-o-n? What about t-a-x-e-s? And for good measure, g-o-v-e-r-n-m-e-n-t  s-h-u-t-d-o-w-n? Those quirky, funny Republicans. Now there’s a group of individuals we can be behind, preferably at the edge of a cliff.
